MOREMAS
is a multi-disciplinary architectural
studio based in New York
and Madrid.
Founded by partners k Kimis
a licensed architect in California and New York. Prior to MOREMAS, he completed
a number of independent projects in Los Angeles, and was associated with influential
architects and designers, including Roto Architects, Inc. in Los Angeles and Naomi
Leff & Associates in New York City.
Mr. Kim has taught architecture as adjunct professor at California Polytechnic
University (Pomona) and Woodbury University, as a teaching assistant at Carnegie
Mellon University and at the Ecoles d'Arts Américaines de Fontainebleau (France).
Most recently he was a Visiting Professor of Architecture at Mississippi State
University. He has also served as invited juror at SCI-Arc, Pratt, NJIT, NYIT,
and at the Rural Studio/Auburn University.
Mr. Kim completed his post-professional degree (Master of Science Degree in Advanced
Architectural Design) at Columbia University receiving the Lucille Smyser Lowenfish
Memorial Prize, and his Bachelor of Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University
with honors. In 1992 he was the recipient of the Médaille de Bronze from the Académie
d´Architecture and the Prix François Meyer-Levy from the Ecole d´Arts
Américaines de Fontainebleau in France. Mr. Kim is a member of the AIA. >>
