Angeles, California 1998. This 1920 building was the Edison Electric Company
of Los Angeles, the third floor of which was occupied by large copper conduits
in a dense catacomb of concrete walls (originally used as fire protection) that
runs the entire 160' length of the building. The renovation of this floor was
limited to removing strategic walls and 'carving-out' spaces in a Gordon Matta-Clark
fashion.
