ESSMMadrid, Spain 2008. A complicated renovation of a dilapidated historic single family house in Madrid. A new central stair and circulation spaces connect the restored traditional rooms. A reflective metal perimeter surrounds a new pool and garden increasing levels of natural light entering at lower levels. Total reconstruction of wood roof structure, reinforcement of existing structure , and MEP upgrade.
